Mitel NuPoint Messager
Mitel NuPoint Messenger provides a cost-effective, scalable, and reliable way to relay, store, and retrieve messages - using a phone, fax machine, pager or PC.
NuPoint Messenger also provides users access to a host of highly flexible and customizable applications. These applications allow users such flexibility as having their calls routed to them while they are on the road, or access to their voice or fax messages from their PC. With advanced networking applications, companies can utilize their existing IP infrastructure to distribute voice and faxes across the enterprise and around the world.
NuPoint Messenger also provides:
- Ability to scale from 25 users up to hundreds of thousands of users
- Ability to incorporate up to 12 languages per system simultaneously
- IP integration to Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP) (Model 70IP only)

Embedded Messaging
The Mitel Embedded Voice Mail system is a complete, multi-language, business-grade voice messaging system that offers unparalleled integration and features. With it, users can easily and conveniently manage their voice messages with intuitive telephone prompts and complete integration with Softkeys on Mitel telephones. The system includes a multi-level auto-attendant to conveniently and quickly route incoming calls to their destination and supports alternate greetings to provide callers with important information, while easing the burden on reception staff.
As an embedded system within the Mitel IP Communications Platforms, the Embedded Voice Mail is cost-effective and easy to manage. It delivers streamlined user administration and system management.
Mitel Messaging Server
Mitel Messaging Server platform provides enterprises with enhanced access and control over communications. Through features such as multilingual auto-attendant, voicemail, text-to-speech, fax mail and wireless device support, the Messaging Server Platform offers a myriad of options for enterprise users to retrieve and manage messages. Fully supporting both IP and TDM environments, the Messaging Server is designed to interface with a range of voicemail systems (including Mitel NuPoint Messenger) using industry standard networking protocols (VPIM and AMIS.)
Mitel Messaging Server also supports a range of e-mail systems including:Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise, Microsoft® Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000. Future releases of the Messaging Server Platform will incorporate Mitel speech recognition capabilities.

The core Speech Server supports speaker authentication for unsuppressed security, (not for bilingual implementations) barge in capability to allow power users to quickly navigate through applications and digital integration with Calling Line ID for superior integration with PBX and VOIP platforms. The speech server offers a range of enterprise applications including the Auto Attendant and Unified Messaging.
Mitel Speech Server Unified Messaging
Mitel Speech Server Unified Messaging is the first unified messaging solution that features natural speech as a user interface to access and modify all aspects of Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 and Outlook: inbox, calendar, contact list and task list. The Speech Server Unified Messaging has powerful text-to-speech capabilities, personal dialer, and tool management/secure access capabilities.

Mitel Speech Server Attendant
Mitel Speech Server Attendant is a speech-enabled auto-attendant with a personal dialer, mobility application and toll management solution It frees users from having to remember a myriad of telephone numbers and eliminates the frustration of dialing extensions by spelling last names. The Speech Server Attendant allows users to make calls and access sophisticated telephony features simply by telling the system what to do.
Mitel Speech Server Attendant provides:
- Support for two to thirty ports of simultaneous speech, corporate directories with up to 10,000 names, and personal directories of up to 500 names
- Recognition of voice signatures to provide powerful and secure toll management capabilities
- Web-browser-based interface by which subscribers can manage their accounts and personal directories and system administrators can manage users, groups, and classes of service
- LDAP integration and browser-based and remote management capabilities that simplify set-up and administration
