Senior Communications Consultant
As a Maverick Networks Inc. Senior Communications Consultant you will be responsible for executing within our tactical sales plan to increase sales growth at a regional level. SCC will use state of the art technology to develop an account base and specific opportunities relating to VoIP/PBX sales, advanced data solutions including National Frame Relay, SONET, and ATM, and data networking solutions. Responsibilities will also include managing customer base and future up-selling. The SCC must have experience and the ability to call on senior level executives. The ideal candidate has over three years of experience in the telecommunications/network industry in VoIP/PBX products, network services (voice and data), and technology integration. A proven sales track record and measured success in sales and account management is required.

Senior Converged Communications Technician
As a Maverick Networks Inc. Senior Converged Communications Technician you will be responsible for installs, repairs, and maintenance on telecommunication and network equipment and/or services at customer's location in an effective and timely manner. Candidate will represent Maverick Networks Inc. in a professional, mature manner. Ultimate goal will be creating customer satisfaction with the products and services you will be responsible for.
1. Essential Job Functions:
- Program, Installs, and maintain telecommunication equipment and/or services at customer's location. Ensures installation is completed within the specified allocated time frame and according to customer specifications. Provides quality resolution to service issues for customers in a timely manner to the customer's satisfaction. (60%)
- Collects and stocks van with necessary parts. (20%)
- Maintains safe driving practices and ensures all driving infractions are reported to Management.
- Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develops personal knowledge/skills necessary to perform required work. (10%)
- Coordinates customers' requests with appropriate company personnel. Acts as liaison between customer and company. Ensures customer is informed of progress or action plans. (10%)
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
2. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Has the ability to understand his / her role and responsibilities in a coordinated service delivery process with dependencies on other team members.
- Maintains a high level, technical knowledge of Mitel and AVST products and services.
- Skill in operating and maintaining various telephone testing, installation, and repair equipment.
- Skilled at reading and interpreting technical instructions as applicable to job duties.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ensure that scheduled maintenance, routine care and required repairs are performed on their company supplied vehicle.
- Ensure that proper safety precautions and instructions are followed when working with work related tools and equipment.
- Provide courteous customer service to new and existing customers.
- Maintain accurate customer related documentation and database information.
- Present a positive image of the level of customer care.
- Provide feedback to supervisor regarding our level of service and feedback from customers.
3. Education, Experience and Essential Requirements:
- HS with Trade/Vo-Tech or 2-year degree
- 5+ years experience as Telecommunications network and equipment Installation/Repair Technician is required.
- The ability to adapt to a rapidly growing and constantly changing industry and work environment is essential.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for the past seven years.
- 5+ years experience with Mitel systems and AVST platforms
- desirable: Prior Certification with Mitel and/or AVST
- desirable: Prior experience with ACD, LCR, Advanced Trunking, ISDN
